We recently got back from a little birthday getaway in Arizona. And one of my tricks for resisting my natural instinct to overpack is to include versatile day-to-night dresses in my vacation wardrobe. Needless to say, this one fits the bill.

While we were in Arizona, I realized how well-suited this Sail to Sable dress is for any vacation. During the day I needed something easy and breezy to wear with flats and a tote and this dress was perfect; it was easy to wear while out walking, shopping, and exploring. But then in the evenings it was easy to pair with this cute bag and metallic wedges for walking to dinner and drinks. Plus, you’ll only need about ten minutes to switch out accessories and be on your way for the next activity. Believe me when I say it is the easiest dress you’ll pack in your suitcase!

Not to mention the most flattering. Something about the beautiful, thick pink trim on the sleeves and hem just makes it hang so flawlessly on the bottom, highlighting your neckline and legs.

Fit Details:  This dress runs true to size. Follow your measurements on their sizing guide and go with the smaller size if you’re in between. The dress looks cute when it’s a bit loose since it’s designed to hang straight on the body.

When I tried on this top and skirt during my Spring personal styling session with W by Worth I knew it would be one of my final choices because of its versatility and endless options. It’s one of those outfits you can easily dress up with a small bag and heels like I’ve done for this look, wear to work with a blouse and flats, or go out on the weekend with a tote and sandals. I’ll be honest, I also got major Parisian vibes when I wore it… Just add a basket of flowers and ballerina flats.

I’ll be celebrating my birthday this week and this pretty blush skirt will definitely be doing a birthday twirl or two. I think this would make a great option for your Easter activities as well.

Fit Details:  This is the first fitted white top I’ve actually loved! It has multiple layers of fabric so it is smoothing and flattering, plus you don’t have to worry about a bra showing through. Go one size down for a fitted look. I love the shape of this skirt; it’s perfectly feminine without being too girly. Go down a size if you’re in between sizes.

I was recently in Savannah, Georgia for my friend’s bachelorette weekend. One morning while there I hopped out of bed, brushed my hair, and threw on this black tee, black leggings, and flats for a quick walk to a little French coffee shop nearby. One of the girls commented that I “always look put together” and she asked how I did it in only five minutes. My secret? Classic, timeless pieces… Specifically, my short trench coat.

I’ve lived a lot of places (hence the “gypsy” namesake) and I’ve really tried to gain fashion insight from each place I’ve called home; all these little fashion lessons have helped define my own personal style. I lived between the U.S. and London for nine years of my life and to this day, London remains a major source of fashion inspiration for me. While living in London, I noticed that Brits often invested in timeless classics; trench coats, quilted jackets, cashmere sweaters, polished riding boots… And it made an impact on me. Whenever I shop, I always take note of pieces that will only get better with time and those are usually the ones that make it into my closet. I love trends as much as the next fashion-obsessed girl, but I prefer to incorporate only my favorite trends and make sure they don’t overwhelm my looks. I believe this is the one factor that ensures I’m curating a closet of classics… And as my friend commented, makes it easy to look “put together”.

I styled this look to show you an easy spring-to-summer look that you can wear nearly anywhere. It’s classic, chic, and timeless but still looks fresh. Cat-eye sunglasses, a simple black tee with a side knot for detail, cuffed skinny jeans, red wedges for a pop of color… And don’t forget the timeless trench.

Thank you so much for hanging in there with me last week while my posts (both here and on social media) were few and far between. I caught the flu after traveling to Florida for our anniversary and Valentine’s Day and then last week I had food poisoning for the first time. I didn’t expect it to make me so tired and exhausted; I was knocked out for the entire week.

I’m happy to finally be feeling back to normal this week and I can’t wait to start the process of catching up on emails, comments, and work. I’ve been wanting to film a video for what seems like ages, so hopefully I’ll be able to create one soon now that I’m better. Fit Details:  The sizing info on the site states that this dress runs a bit small and I did not find that to be the case. I think the dress runs true to size. The site also calls this a ‘maxi’ dress and I felt that it was more ankle length, which I love. (I am 5’7″ for reference.) It is perfect for showing off cute shoes this spring. There are a few little hook-and-eye closures down the front of the bust; if you wanted to wear a cami or bralette underneath you could do so and leave a few hooks undone. This ‘v’ neckline creates a very slimming, flattering effect. Last but not least, I have to mention the beautiful fabric on this dress; it’s high-quality and has a nice weight to it so it moves in a lovely way when you walk.

We’re finally feeling a bit of spring in the air here in Denver. There have been a few days when I’ve been able to open our windows, and I’ve been enjoying adding fresh flower bouquets to our countertops and tables. I’ve been on the lookout for a new spring fragrance and I think I’ve finally found a favorite.

And while we’re chatting about new spring things, can we talk about this beautiful floral skirt from W by Worth?! It’s one of the pieces I chose when I went for my spring styling session with W by Worth here in Denver. I love the effortless, flowy fabric and the way it feels just a little boho when I paired it with this off-shoulder top. I also like the idea of pairing it with a fitted off-shoulder tee like my favorite from W by Worth to balance the volume of the skirt. With vacations, weddings, and Easter coming up I know this feminine skirt is one I’ll be reaching for often. It can be paired with a sweater or jacket and heels or even a tank and flats for daytime.
